How To Create The Perfect Hosting Home: SEATING TO ACCOMMODATE

Before you think about hosting, ensure you have enough seating. People floating around in hallways and on stairwells may work for the movies, but in reality, your guests won’t expect to be standing!  Whilst you may not buy your sofa with entertaining in mind, it doesn’t hurt to give it some thought. Comfy couches with plenty of room will be favourite landing spots. But also consider alternatives such as arm chairs, ottoman, and even Moroccan cushions for extra seating. And don’t forget to stock up on collapsable chairs, just in case!

How To Create The Perfect Hosting Home: A DINING TABLE

You can’t host a dinner party if your dining table isn’t big enough. Even if your dining table doesn’t get daily use and may seem a bit obsolete, they are useful for parties. A dining table can hold nibbles for cocktail parties or be set up as a bar area. If you love hosting a sit-down party then a dining table will be useful. Duh! However, if you don’t have a large space then investigate tables with extensions. Some have a panel in the middle and others have fold-down sides. Alternatively, buy a suitable piece of MDF board, sit it on your current dining table and cover with a very large tablecloth. Ensure the MDF board isn;t so much bigger than you table that it flips over when in use. Secure it effectively to the table underneath.

How To Create The Perfect Hosting Home: SOMEONE SAY GARDEN PARTY?

For the gorgeous summer months, it’s criminal to host parties inside. That’s why it’s important to get the most of your outside space, too. Even a small garden can host some wonderful parties if you know how to effectively use the space. Again, you’ll need to think about seating. Those collapsable chairs you bought could come in useful here. It’s also worth buying some garden furniture you can leave outside. That way, you don’t need to worry! If you have the space,  look at hot tubs for sale. These are sure to go down well with your guests and add an edge to your party! Make sure to tell people to bring their swimming costumes along with them. Decorated with solar lights hot tubs are a fun way to entertain friends when the sun goes down.
